The Swachhta Hi Seva campaign (with the theme 'Swabhav Swachhata - Sanskaar Swachhata') was inaugurated with the display of banners at the ICAR-NRCB office building, the Institute Research Farm, and the residential complex. The event included a Swachhta Pledge taken at the ICAR-NRCB office by all staff members of the institute. Additionally, a Swachhta Pledge was taken online by the Secretary (DARE) & DG (ICAR), other dignitaries, and all directors of ICAR institutes along with their officers and staff. A selfie point was also installed to spread the Swachhta Hi Seva messages through mass media. All staff members, including scientific, technical, administrative, RAs, SRFs, YPs, JSAs, and contractual staff, actively participated in the Swachhata run, raising awareness about cleanliness among the villagers

A plantation drive themed 'Ek Ped Maa ke Naam' was organized at the ICAR-NRCB research farm on 17-09-2024, during which around 100 saplings were planted. The chief guests, Director of ICAR-NRCB Dr. Selvarajan R. and Mr. Karmegam, former DGM of TNPL, participated alongside scientists and farm workers in this mass plantation drive.
