In order to facilitate rapid testing of COVID 19 samples in Tiruchirappalli Dr. S. Uma, Director, ICAR-NRCB, Trichy today (24.7.2020) has handed over an advanced version of RT-PCR machine to Dr. Vanathi, Department of Microbiology, Govt KAPV Medical College, Tiruchirappalli with a capacity to test 90 samples at a time. This would help the health department in testing more numbers of COVID 19 samples in the district and detection of cases for further treatment of the affected persons.
