Quinquennial Review Team meeting of ICAR-National Research Centre for Banana was held at the institute during 25-26, February 2019 under the Chairmanship of Dr K.V.Peter, Former Vice-Chancellor, Kerala Agricultural University and the following members Dr.B.P.Singh, Dr.K.Anjaneyalu , Dr.P.K.Ray, Dr. Abraham Varghese were participated in the meeting . Dr.S.Uma, Director, welcomed the gatherings and presented the salient research achievements of the centre for 2018-19. Dr.B.Padmanaban, Member Secretary, QRT presented the action taken report of the last QRT meeting. Scientists of Crop Improvement, Crop Production, Post Harvest Technology and Crop Protection presented their research findings for the reporting period. The suggestions given by the Chairman and members of QRT were on the presentations The review team visited all the laboratories and NRCB Farm and held discussions with the scientists on the ongoing programme. The meeting was over in the afternoon of 26/2/2019.
