CELEBRATION OF SEWA DIWAS @ICAR – NRCB, TIRUCHIRAPALLI
As part of the implementation of the Swachh Bharat Mission, “Celebration of Sewa Diwas” was held on 17th September 2017 between 10.00 AM to 12.00 Noon at ICAR – NRCB Residential Complex, Karumandapam, Tiruchirapalli.
On this occasion, Dr.S.Uma, Director, ICAR – NRCB welcomed the gathering. Dr.D.Ramajayam, Senior Scientist / Convener (Swatch Bharat Committee) briefed the gathering about “Swachhta Hi Sewa” and also administered the Swachhta Pledge to the staff members.
Around 100 staff members including contractual workers of ICAR – NRCB participated in the programme and taken up the cleaning drive in and around the surroundings of children’s park, play ground, water tank, roads, etc.
At the end of the programme, Dr.B.Padmanaban, Principal Scientist / Chairman (Swachh Bharat Committee) appreciated the staff members and thanked them for making the ‘Celebration of Sewa Diwas’ a grand success.
