Dr. K.N.Shiva, Principal Scientist, Participated and delivered a guest lecture on "Quality Banana Fiber Extraction and Its Applications for Domestic and Export Markets" in the training programme on "Banana Fiber Handicrafts", organized by SSKJ Trading Pvt. Ltd., Trichy, in which ICAR-NRCB, Trichy is a Knowledge Partner and FDDC-KVIC, Trivandrum as Training Partner. The training started on 20th January and will come to end on 30th January 2016. The programme was conducted at Ponnagar, Trichy with the objective of promoting banana fiber based applications mainly on 'Handicrafts making' and explore the possibilities of other applications. This is the platform to have Win-Win partnership mode to transform the knowledge to reality. The lecture attracted a lot deliberations/interactions on the topics covered.
