The Eighteenth Research Advisory Committee Meeting of  ICAR-NRCB was held during 5-6 February, 2017 under the Chairmanship of Dr.S.N.Pandey, Former ADG (Hort.), ICAR, New Delhi. Other members of the RAC – Dr. P.Ananda Kumar, IIRR, Hyderabad ; Dr. TVK. Singh, Emeritus Professor, PJTSAU, Hyderabad, Dr. N.Kumar, Former Dean, TNAU-Coimbatore, Nagergoil ;  Dr.AK.Misra, Former-PC, STF, Lucknow , IMC Representatives – Shri  S.Rajendran, Kattuputhur, Trichy and Shri MN., Vaithianathan, Lalgudi,Trichy were participated.  Dr.S.Uma, Director, ICAR-NRCB welcomed all the RAC Members and presented a salient research achievements made by the Centre during last one year. Dr. B.Padmanaban, Member Secretary-RAC presented the ATR of seventeenth RAC Meeting followed by the presentation of individual Scientists on their research projects work / achievements. After two deliberation, the Committee made its recommendations.

Earlier the team also visited the NRCB Farm on 5.2.2017 forenoon and interacted with the each Scientist about their research plots laid-out in the farm.

The meeting ended with vote of thanks to the Chair and other RAC Members by Dr.B.Padmanaban, Member Secretary-RAC.
