ICAR-NRCB celebrated the National Science Day -2017 on 28.02.2017 with the main theme of “Science for the Specially Abled”. In this occasion, scientific talks, exhibition, film show and quiz programmes for Specially-abled children and for administrative staff members were conducted. More than 100 students from different schools in Trichy participated in these celebrations. Dr. P. Durai, Senior Technical Officer gave a lecture on “Recent advancements in Science and Technology”. In her special address, Dr.(Mrs.) S. Uma, Director, ICAR-NRCB, emphasised the opportunities and importance of younger generations in Research and Developments of Indian Agriculture. Mr. B. Sathish, Senior Administrative Officer welcomed the gathering and Dr.S.Backiyarani, Principal Scientist gave Vote of Thanks.
