ICAR - NRCB Sections / Units

NRCB's research activities are focused on four core areas: Crop Improvement, Crop Production, Post Harvest Management, and Crop Protection. The centre houses well-equipped laboratories specializing in diverse fields including tissue culture, biotechnology, soil science, nutrient management, physiology, biochemistry, entomology, nematology, and pathology (covering fungal, bacterial, and viral aspects). Additionally, NRCB conducts research in post harvest technology to ensure better handling and storage practices.
