1. Developed Sweet potato varieties CARI-Swarna and CARI-Aparna suitable for Island ecosystem.
2. Developed potato variety Kufri Sahyadri, ahigh yielding, medium maturing variety, resistant to both potato cyst nematode (PCN) and late blight.
3. Developed coconut variety Kalpa Nakshatra, a Dwarf x Tall hybrid suitable for copra, tender nut and inflorescence sap production.
4. Developed technology to identify the coconut varieties through palynological traits
5. Developed SNP markers in coconut through GBS approach in collaboration with ICAR-CPCRI.
6. Developed Non-coding RNA derived SSR markers in coconut in collaboration with ICAR-CPCRI.
7. Developed technology for hybridity confirmation in coconut seedlings using molecular markers
8. Characterized the genetic diversity of West Coast Tall (WCT) population by molecular markers.
9. Developed Trap and Antagonistic Cropping Technology for Sustainable Potato Cyst Nematode Control in collaboration with ICAR-CPRI.
10. Developed molecular tool and identified resistant potato germplasm possessing multiple gene resistance against PCN.
