ICAR-NRCB Recreation club has greeted New Year, 2019 on 01.01.2019 at the institute premises. About 200 members of ICAR-NRCB staff, JRF, SRF and students and skilled and unskilled workers participated in the New Year 2019 celebration. On this occasion, various kinds of competition was conducted, like, drawing, lemon & spoon and bucketing the ball etc. for the staff and their kids. Besides, they were all taught the Swachh Bhartah mission, & slogan. In the afternoon of 1st January 2019, all NRCB workers had a formal gathering and Dr. B. Padmanabhan, Principal Scientist welcomed the staff and their family members for the new year-2019 celebration. Various cultural events like dance, singing, elocution, etc. were performed by the staff and their kids. On this occasion, Dr. S Uma, Director, ICAR-NRCB highlighted the previous year’s achievements of ICAR-NRCB and emulated all the staff to strive hard to take the NRCB to a newer height. Then, prizes were distributed to all the winners of the various events. At the end, the cake cutting ceremony was done by the Director with all the staff.
